JDS - For My PEAR-fect Friend!

Good Morning Crafty Friends, 

Mel Sanz here with once again a brand new JDS Design Team Card.

Today’s card is called “For my PEAR-fect Friend!” and was created with this wonderful brand new digital image called Fall PEAR-fection from Jan’s Digi Stamps. This stamp is currently on sale and I am convinced that you will find many ways to create with it so go grab it while you can.

To create this card, I first printed the pears in a few different sizes and colored them with my Copics.

Here is a list of colors I used:

Pears: YG93, YG03, Y15, Y11

Shadows: W1, W00

I then fussy cut and glued them all on a 4 x 5 ¼ panel of Accent Opaque 80 lb Cardstock. To add some interest, I also added a few layers behind the first Pear so that it would stand out a little more.

To make my panel pop, I glued it on top of 2 pieces of 4 1/8 x 5 3/8 black cardstock which was then mounted to a 4 ¼ x 5 ½ top folding Accent Opaque 100 lb Cardstock.
