Good Morning my Crafty Friends!
It’s time for another card made from this cute little stamp set from Jan’sDigi Shop called Eggs-tra-Ordinary Accts.
Here is a preview of my card:
You are EGGS-tra-Oridnary!
To create this card, I first resized and printed the sentiment and image
on a 5 x 3 ¾ white panel of Accent Opaque 80 lbs Cardstock. I
then used a blender brush and inked some Distress Oxide Ground Espresso
around the card and then proceeded to color the image with Copic Markers.
Lis of Copic used:
Eggs – E04, E13, E11
Straw – Y18, YG93
Bucket – BG18, BG13, BG11
I then realized that I had cut my panel a lot smaller than anticipated so to make it work, I cut 2 more panels. The first one is 5 1/8 x 3 7/8 and was inked with Distress Oxide Ground Espresso so that it would blend with the first panel. The second one was cut at 5 5/16 x 4 1/16 and I inked the corners with a black marker.
I then mounted all panels on a top folded 4 ¼ x 5 ½ card base from Accent Opaque 100 lbs Cardstock.
I must admit that I had forgotten that my BG Copics are not working anymore so please ignore the blotchiness of the bucket. As most of you know, I suffer from migraines, so I decided to call it quit instead of starting the card over. The card was made with love and that is what counts. It is quite difficult for myself to post a card that is not 100% to my standards, I am sure most of you would relate but no one knows what it SHOULD look like so do not beat yourself over mistakes. It is not easy but we can do it.
If you want more inspiration, feel free to pop over to the Challenge Blog to see what the rest of the team made. I am sure that you will find something that you will like.
